Saab 9 3 convertible roof reset.

1 a hydraulic reservoir which must be at correct level. Saab 2004 9 3 convertible. Unfortunatly the roof seems to have developed an inability to open it opened when the car was collected. I have a 2004 saab 9 3 arc convertible i bought it with an inoperable top it looks like the previous owner used it manually i am missing tools in the trunk to manually release the front i tried a star bit 30 it seems to be stripped out not sure how to fix this also the remote key worked yesterday and won t today interior buttons won t lock or unlock can t open the fuel door or trunk i replaced.

First if your led read out on your radio stereo panel says soft top failure chances are the hydraulic fluid that feeds the motor is probably low or out. Got instructions on how to manually unlock roof and disassemble but can t even complete step one which is to manually unlock. 2 a black box stc this controls the roof system switch ignition off then pull the 2 connectors off for 30sec then reconnect.
